We build and assemble everything with care and love right in the heart of Munich, Germany.

U.S. based orders will be produced and shipped from Michigan, USA.

Australia-based orders will be produced and shipped from Tasmania, Australia, as of August 11, 2025.

***Materials***:
The housing, base, handle, and gears are printed with PLA, and retrieved from corn starch. All the needles are medical-grade stainless steel springs. We only use high-quality bearings to ensure a firm but smooth rotation. The entire tamping station is printed with PLA, and retrieved from corn starch. The adjustment knob consists of 3D-printed parts, a metal screw, a metal nut and metal threads.

***Packaging***
Included are the following with each purchase:
- The WDT tool (as seen in the pictures), preloaded with 10x0.25 mm needles
- Tamping Station, either 58 mm or 54 mm (depending on your choice) including the adjustment knob and screws (preassembled)

***Compatibility:***
The WDT tool is designed for optimal compatibility with all standard 58 mm baskets and Breville / Sage 54 mm baskets. While it is optimized for 18-22g baskets, smaller basket sizes can be accommodated by adjusting the needles' reach (14 mm-25 mm) by up to 11 mm through the adjustment rings.

The Tamping Station is designed for optimal compatibility with all 58 mm standard portafilters, 58 mm Gaggia/LaMarzocco, Nuova Simonelli, Vittoria Arduino, E61, EC, Rocket, Flair58, etc., and Breville / Sage 54 mm portafilters. Make sure you choose the right variation for your machine.

***Uniqueness:***
The tool comes with 3 metal ball bearings for a smooth turn. This also ensures longevity as there is little friction at every turn. On top of this, you can adjust the height of the needles by up to 11 mm, which makes it a useful tool for different basket sizes.

The Tamping Station comes preassembled with an adjustment knob that can be adjusted up to 11 mm to fit all your portafilters. More information on size and weight can be found in the pictures.

***Personalization:***
Upon request, we also offer to create your own unique combination of colors. We do, however, only offer a combination of colors that are shown in the pictures. No matter which color combination you choose, there are no additional costs involved!
